Based in Brisbane, OVERTURE develops and produces original Australian musicals — creating a pathway from the first idea to the first audience.
Founded by writer and composer Bradley McCaw, OVERTURE brings artists together to write, develop, workshop, perform and record new work, giving new musicals the time, people and place they need to grow.
Initially focused on McCaw’s growing catalogue of original works, OVERTURE is building a model that can grow to support new writers, composers, performers and theatre-makers.
